Variety Vault is a contract additive manufacturer in Ames, Iowa. Sintered nylon, filament, and resin under one roof, for production runs, functional prototypes, fixtures, and the part nobody else will quote. We also run a retail shop of our own designs, which is a straightforward way to see what actually comes off these machines before you send us anything.
Three processes, one buildingAn industrial SLS system, 20+ filament machines, and 20+ resin machines. We pick the one your part actually needs and combine them when that is the better answer.

SLS · FDM · Resin, every one of them run in house
01 · SLS
Nylon 12
Strong in every direction, no support marks, geometry a mold could never make. Our workhorse for parts that have to do a job.
02 · FDM
Filament
The widest material range we run and the cheapest way to iterate. Up to sixteen colors in a single print, and parts up to 800 mm.
03 · MSLA
Resin
The finest detail we run, on walls that come off the machine already smooth. Every blend mixed here for the part in front of us.
